  • Call for Participation to the Mini-symposium “The plant microbiome: a key determinant of plant health and productivity”

    As part of the activities of the Tunisian-Indian project TOMendo entitled "Diversity of tomato seed-borne endophytes and their applications for the promotion of plant growth and defense against pathogens", the Laboratory of Bioactive Substances at the Center for Biotechnology of Borj Cedria organizes in collaboration with the Tunisian Association of Genetic Resources (ATRG) a mini-symposium under the subject "The plant microbiome: a key determinant of plant health and productivity".
    In order to participate to this event, PhD students, engineers and researchers can send the completed participation form and a summary of their research (500 words, New-time Roman, Bold 14 for the title and 12 for the text) by email to the following address "dnaceur2014@gmail.com" before January 16, 2018.

    • • Place of the event: Borj Cedria Biotechnology Center,
    • • Participation fee: 30 TD including ATRG membership, document, certificate, coffee break and lunch.

    We will confirm your registration by return email at January 18, 2018.
    Places are limited to 25. The participants are required to prepare a poster in A3 format presenting their results related to the subject of the mini-symposium.

  • COMSTECH 2017 Prize in the field of biology and chemistry

    The Organization of Islamic Cooperation Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH) announces the award of prizes, which are intended to encourage and support scientific contributions in basic sciences. COMSTECH will offer Awards in the fields of Biology and Chemistry during the 16th Session of COMSTECH General Assembly.
    Nominations for the COMSTECH Prizes are invited from science academies, national research councils, universities, research institutions, and internationally distinguished scientists who are citizens of, and working in, OIC member states.
    Each Prize consists of a cash award of US$5000 and a personalized plaque.

Dans ce cadre et comme première phase Dr. Maja Wegman (Innovations- und Transfermanager - Innovation Capability Center TZI-Universitat Bremen) et Dr Michael Boronowsky (Managing Director - Center For Computing and Communication Technologies, Universitat Bremen) ont visité le CBBC et ce, le Jeudi 22 Juin pour la présentation des composantes du projet TRIFOLD et la feuille de route qui sera adoptée par ce projet.
